Thanks craftymech. I'll have to find someone to burn all of that, as I have no means of doing it myself

I really cannot tell you how satisfying it is to bomb boomerang-wielding Native Americans who actually look like African tribesman from a hot air balloon. It almost feels like you're in a steam punk version of Jonny Quest.
When I play it, can I pretend I'm Dr. Quest on an archaeological expedition to an ancient city in the Yucatán jungle and I'm being threatened by a ruthless British treasure hunter and his native Indian confederates, searching for riches in the same ruins?
Only if I'm allowed to be your Race Bannon.
I've been playing a lot of Pioneer Balloon lately, while testing the High score saving feature of the BitKit. A few things I've noticed about the first stages:
- The "power" meter recharges after every stage. There doesn't seem to be any bonus for how much of the meter is left, so you can use the extra time to score more points.
- On the first stage, the birds are worth 400 points, and the wagons are 300. On the second stage, they are both worth 400 points.
- The 5th stage cannons are worth 1000 points.
- The bonus at the end of stage 6 starts at 10,000pts and then goes up to 20k, 30k, etc. with each loop.
- The "storm" (stage 4) has two types of water tornados... one that goes almost straight up, and the other that has a more side to side direction. They are different shades of blue, so on loop 2 when the action gets pretty frantic, keep your eye on the kind that rise straight up.
I hate it that you got good enough to find all of this out.
ha! I'm not really that good, but my blood thirst for bombing natives and poaching gorillas keeps me playing.
I have some video of CrazyKongFan playing his board at my place. The game is fantastic and he's really good at it (but he's good at everything).
Fred is pretty amazing. He always has good tips for getting better.
I enjoy watching him masterfully play Tempest.
