Rockola Eyes coin door unhacked

looks exactly like the coin door in the Fantasy i picked up a couple of days ago, right down to the lack of wiring and sockets to light the coin return buttons.

Well see there?
Now you know your's is AUTHENTIC!

Just because there is a space for a coin return bulb to be mounted, that may have never been the case.

That is a curious thing though- there is nothing missing from the coin door electrical connector.

I did notice one other thing on my door- the lock has been replaced and the pivot arm that slides a shaft into the upper and lower latches is not there.

alas

mine does not have the pivot arm either and it looks like it never did.

i think Rock Ola went as cheap as possible, skipping the lock pivot arm and the lighting for the coin door. though that coin pcb mounted between the to mechs seems to be rather odd...

i'm considering grabbing the necessary bits off of a parts coin door to install lights for the coin return buttons, even if that wouldn't be authentic. i like 'em all it up.

Maybe this is the best place for asking for help - I have a Upright Nibbler that needs a power supply. either an switching one wired correctly or an original Rock-ola silver brick. I've looked evertywhere and asked quite a few people, but just noticed everyone talking about rock-ola games. If I broke protocol jumping on this, I apologioze. I just want my machine to work.
