Rockage 2.0 (gaming and music event this coming weekend San Jose Ca)
So anyone else going to rockage 2.0 in San Jose this coming weekend (8,9,10)? From what I gather it will have arcade games and video game themed music played by bands, dj,s ect.
The arcade games are coming from the folks who put on CAX according to the event organizer. I take that to likely mean Dale, Ken and TJ. Or any one or mix of those three folks. If you caught the music at CAX last year in hall H on Saturday I believe that show was organized by Eric Fanali. He is the person behind rockage 2.0 if my info is correct.
I believe tickets can still be bought on line right now for $10 a day or possibly $30 for the 3 days. At the door I think they will be $20 a day so if you're going buy now to save.
I'm guessing this will be a smaller setting with as much focus on the music as the gaming. Maybe more focus on music than gaming but, the video I've seen of the first year seems to show a number of arcade games.
At any rate I plan to check it out and will likely be there Friday and Saturday. Would be cool if this eventually grew into the west coast version of MAG fest.
