I had a group of 15 Rock-Ola wallettes, linked to a Rock-Ola Juke Box from the Nostalgia line. They were working (you could order songs from the wallette and get it to play on the Juke Box,) but then it stopped.
Checking with Rock-Ola, they recommended changing the 75176 chips, which are the chips that handle the communication. Since all 15 wouldn't talk with the JB, I started changing out the Com chip on the main computer.
That brought back all but 1 string. That one ended up having 2 separate wallettes with bad com chips. You have to be careful getting them out - there is a small trace on the top of the board, between Pins 2 and 3. If you don't pull the solder through, you can lift those pads, and that is a pain to fix.
So, if you have wallettes that aren't talking to the juke box, change the 75176 chip.
