Rock-Ola Legend Are these reliable?

I bought one brand new and it's been on my route ever since. No more trouble than a Rowe I would say. My only real complaints are that the Rockola scuffs the outer edge of the CDs on the V-groove in the magazine after lots of plays, making them unreadable, and the magazine is a pain to load with CDs. Not sure how parts will be now that Rowe has taken over Rockola, but at least there are a lot more Rowe dealers than there were Rockola dealers.

Fact is, Rowe ( as well as any other manufacturer ) is no longer supporting their CD line of jukeboxes. Parts "may" be available from some distributors, but that well will run dry soon. We will all be getting parts from eBay and sites such as this one.

I've had BOTH Rowe and Rock-Ola CD jukes. They are pretty much both reliable. The Rock-Ola amplifier sounds better than the Rowe, but the Rowe is ALOT easier to load and work on space-wise.

It's the 'ol " six-of-one and a half dozen of the other" routine.

Good Luck,
Dave.

I have not heard of Rowe not supporting their CD jukes anymore.

I have not experienced _any_ difficulty in ordering any Rowe CD parts from Rowe distribs.

It was an article in RePlay magazine about 1/2 year ago. Every manufacturer "went internet". I have no doubt some distributors still have some parts and are doing some repairs, but it's only a matter of time my friend.

Merit don't support the "MAXX" series megatouches any-longer, and it's getting harder and harder to by a monitor with a picture tube. Just some examples .
