Started a rebuild on the frozen gripper mech on my RO 429 Starlet. It was so difficult to disassemble with all the gunk that I don't have any reference marks to realign the two gripper gears as they mesh with the wide lower gear.
Now that everything moves smoothly, there is an obvious stop point when I rotate the main lower shaft either way.
Does anyone have a reassembly process with some reference photos with the correct alignment of the gripper mechanism?
The lower shaft has not been disassembled at all, so the 3 switch actuators, tone arm wheel, and the gears on either side of the gripper "tower" have not been bothered and should be fine.
