Roc N Rope - what cabinet and control panel to use?

Building a Roc n Rope. I think these were all kits but I want to make it look dedicated. I have side art, control panel overlay, marquee and Pcb.

What game/cabinet do you think would work and look the best?

Need a control panel to match NOS CPO:

Yeah I can't find any pix for a dedicated version. Even the ones on VAPS say they are dedicated but I think they are conversions.

I guess I should just look for a cool looking Kjonami cabinet?

The flyer says "ROC'N ROPE is also available as a complete game." I've only seen conversions though.

I've been thinking about this for a while...I think a Konami or Stern cabinet from that era would be good. Something like Tutankham, Pooyan or maybe Super Cobra.

Stern Super Cobra or Scramble. Sorry, I gutted and sold mine due to rotten cabinet.

Time Pilot is the game of choice we intend to use for this project. Rich has our Bezel in the works right now and we are awaiting the art scan for the CPO to get it all done.

Fiz if you could please help us out on this and send that CPO scan to Rich, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

i've seen this game in a wizard of wor cab, stern, and a game plan (what I have) style cab.
I personally think it would be best in a stern cabinet.

Starcade used a Pengo cabinet and it looked nice but you have to have the right CPO for it.

THe NOS one Fiz has looks to fit a Konami cabinet.

Since Stern licensed many of Konami's games , I'd say it would be best in a Stern cab.

I say just use a Cliff Hanger cabinet, just because the flyer uses the phrase "A real Cliff Hanger". Plus that is technically a Stern cabinet anyway.

Which Stern cabinet would you use? You would have to change wiring harness if you did a Stern cabinet would you not?

I am not a big fan of Jamma adaptors

Time Pilot would just be plug and play to the roc n rope board and run one wire for the flash button to the edge connector. You would also have to drill a hole in the CP for that button as well and that would be it.

Install the art and marquee and you have an instant roc n rope. Would probably take an hour or two with a time pilot cabinet.

As far as the way the cabinet looks that is a matter of preference. I was trying to emulate what kind of cabinet would konami use if they made a dedicated one of these.

This was Fizgig asking, I imagine the cabinet and wiring will both be brand new.
