This is why I hate this resto sub forum nonsense. In the old days, you restored a machine, threw the thread in the General section and got at least 2 weeks of mileage out of it. Here, you're lucky to get 8 comments and 2 days of attention. These are the types of threads that keep this place relevant. You did an excellent job Spy, and I hope my Joust turns out half as nice.

I just need to finish the last Cream stencil and then clearcoat it. It's literally 3 hours of work from being done. I have been focusing on the gameroom and my Gorf the last 2 weeks, so I put off the Joust yet again. Oh well. Robotron is a cabinet that I would love to restore. Once I found out my Joust was a Robotron factory repaint, I was really bummed that I already purchased the Joust Stencils. But when I think about it, all the Williams games need repped here. Your Robo, JoeyCuda's StarGate, that other dude's Defender, my Moon Patrol and now my upcoming Joust. It would be fun to get all those restored Williams games in one row for a photo shoot.

Yeah, a group photo of fully restored Williams games would look great.
I may get to restoring my MP next Summer. Depends on where it falls in the long list of projects I have. I also have a Sinistar, but I'm thinking the side art is a bit too nice to restencil.

Ooooooh, Sini is a great one for resto. Don't think I've ever seen one done right (or at all) yet. I had one, but traded it for a Burgertime. I love my Burgertime, but still wish I had the Sini back too. I assume that uses the same silver as the Robo?

The other side is where the problem is
Now that I think of it, you may be able to get a picture with the Robotron. It's sold and going to Wisconsin. Not too far from you.
