I found a Robotron close to home and I'm just looking for some ideas on what would be a decent price?

He's asking 1500CAN.

Is it original or restored? That question goes hand in hand with whether you're a collector or enthusiast. Prices are different depending on what you are. Notice I didn't say a money figure? :)

Ouch. I would say 1/3 that price, assuming all is working perfectly, and the sideart is good. Definitely needs a new CPO, and it could be the picture, but the sticks look shorter than they should be; might not be original, which would suck.

That is a terrible price. I sold one a while back with repro CPO and brand new vision pro monitor for $1200 and that's on the higher end of what they go for.

I'm more of a pinguy at heart, but this is one of the main dedicated vids that I would want. I friggin love robotron. I sent him an email to see if it was all original or what the deal is. If he's asking 1500 and I offered 500 he'd probably be offended hahaha. They don't come up for sale around here very damn often that's for sure. He said he needs to sell it cause he's moving so maybe he's willing to budge a whole lot. Who knows..thx for the help so far everyone, any other help or tips would be appreciated.

The CPO looks trashed. Can't tell much else from the bad pictures. I've seen a nice Robotron sell for $250 on ebay somewhat locally. For a working one with 'cosmetic flaws', I would say $500 max for good condition. Anything above that better be mint condition, or have a ton of repro parts.

Are there any good robotron cpo's available for sale? As that would obviously need to be replaced for sure.

There are several places. MameMarquees comes to mind. They also show up regularly on EBay. If you want absolutley original, I think the auction site that bought up all the Midway and Williams stuff had some original ones.

Price is too high and the pictures suck. That's a bad sign right there.

From what I can see it has the control panel is original but the joysticks are definitely not.

I think if the side art is decent which I cannot see at all in those crappy pictures and it works fine then maybe $500 - $800 CND. Then you would have to get new sticks about $40 US and an overlay another $50 US.

If the side art is not there or thrashed I'd probably pass on it.
