Picked up a nice working Robotron off Craigslist for $150 today. Wifey was kind enough (like she had a choice) to let me drop everything and run for it.

This totally makes up for me missing a $25 Defender cocktail last week. Which one of you got that anyway? :0)

Merry & Happy to all of you!

thats less than £100 in uk.

my god that would be selling for £800+ here.

hope a star wars cockpit comes up for $20 and your wife tells you that you cant have it,spanks your ass and sends you to the naughy step for being such a tease.
:p

Congrats, $150 is an incredible deal, I wish we had deals like that in Fl. for one

Damn it, it was local too :(

I don't even bother with CL anymore. Seems like more trouble than it is worth most of the time.

Glad to see it worked out for you. Great game, GREAT price!

Enjoy!

Cheap games & Craigslist...

Silverunicorn - where in PA are you? I'm in Philly.

As for you other guys wishing for $150 Robotrons - you just have to troll Craigslist constantly. Get an alerts program for your phone. Cheap games are out there but everybody swarms them asap.

Here's a couple of tips:

1. Try to be the first person to contact the seller when an ad goes up
2. Make sure your email is clear and well written - sound knowledgeable about games.

And my most important tip:
3. Don't haggle if the price is already amazing. Just offer the cash and to pick up immediately.

Bonus tip:
If it's really cheap you might even offer a few extra bucks to make sure they call you back.

Good luck guys!

That is an outstanding score!!!!!!!!!

Your persistance has paid off very nicely; well done.

Ok, so will you take $200.00 for it? :)

clean up...

Did the lithium battery mod today along with adding a metal C channel along the bottom to prevent further wood damage. Next up - seal the bezel, print a new pricing card, repaint all the black parts then in a few weeks new CPO and buttons.
