Hey Guys,

Where can I find a good replacemnt monitor for my Robotron game? I want something
thats a simple drop in replacement.

Thanks Dave

Sugarbear, unfortunately nobody makes new CRT's anymore. You could get an LCD, but they're expensive and would probably look like shit in a Robotron.

What's wrong with the current monitor?
Is it broken?
Too much screen burn?
It's probably cheaper to just fix your current monitor than to replace it.
Then there's the option of replacing it with a TV tube.

Yep, way cheaper to rebuild it. There is a ton of info on here to repair G07 or K4900's which is what you probably have.

I would check Craigslist for used ones. Sometimes they will be listed individually while other times they may be in an ad from someone that sells arcade parts and / or machines. If nothing else, good to have a spare.

What is wrong with the monitor? I have 25 machines and I have never replaced a single monitor with a drop in replacement. They can be easily fixed with the right knowhow or by having someone else do it.

Call the guys at P&L Monitor in Baldwin park - they can fix it if you don't want to mess with it, and they can do it while you wait.
