Robotron cabaret (mini) marquees - any interest in plexi repros?

I've approached Rich from ToG about these and am trying to gauge if there is sufficient interest in the project before getting too far along... Finding an original is almost impossible and the only other avenue so far has been repro "translite" types... I'd like to get these made on plexi as the originals were and screened if possible (not sure the details as of yet). It would be a smaller run as there isn't huge demand for these -- Rich quoted 25 to make them affordable.

Let me know your thoughts..

Thanks!

Mine is perfect, but I think it would be great for the hobbie, You can already buy the CPO. If you do this, I can see other cabarets getting converted.

Well, I guess we can shelve this project. :(

Well, I just saw this post, but yeah I'd be interested. I know there are a number of others who have restored Williams Cabaret cabinets to nice Robotrons over the past 2-3 years and I'm sure like me they all have the translite repro's. Might be a case of 'if you make it they will come'. You'll also get some people who don't need them that will buy them 'just in case' or because they are 'limited availability'. So go ahead and do it!

All that being said, don't knock the translite marquee if you can't get this project off the ground. Mine looks fantastic and I'm certain most wouldn't suspect it's not original.
