*****SOLD*****
This one's gonna sting, but I've decided to part with my Robotron: 2084. $600.
The good:
Overall, the game looks good and plays like a champ. I just replaced the batteries in it yesterday, so you should be good on memory for a long time. I also replaced the coin door and P1/P2 lights.
While the monitor has some attract mode screen burn (not noticeable during gameplay), it is super bright and crisp. It's probably the nicest looking monitor in my collection.
Marquee and bezel are nice. Instruction card is included with the bezel.
Instruction manual, coin door key, and Robotron keychain from OldTymeToys also included.
The not-as-good:
There are a couple of small cigarette burns on the CPO (see pic) and some cracking where it wraps around the CP, but overall, it's clean and looks good.
Needs a new permanent marquee fixture. I just tossed in a fixture from Wal-Mart, and it's in there loose. If I wind up shipping this game, I'd take that out to prevent any potential damage. If you're local, I'd just pop that out before you transport it, and pop it back in when you get home if it doesn't bug you.
The left joystick is a little looser than the right one. This never bothered me enough to adjust, because the game plays just fine. I actually prefer a little difference in tension between the two sticks.
The cabinet itself has some splintering in the back left corner, and some wear on the artwork. The artwork is more than acceptable to me (my games are like an inch apart in my game room, so you can't see the side art on any of them anyway), but if you're a perfectionist, this might bug you.
PM me if you're interested. I'm willing to ship anywhere as long as the buyer handles all the costs associated with it and makes all of the arrangements.
