What is everyones take on side art? I made this robocop sideart using images from the web. I plan on restoring my robocop if it does not sell, but I do not feel like tracking down and buying nos sideart. My friend owns a sign company and can print these up for me cheaply, the quality is excellent.

Bringing an image from the web unless you got a hold of something insanely high resolution to sideart size might not turn out so well. You've probably already seen the stuff mamemarquees has ( http://www.gameongrafix.com/products/robocop-sideart-2 the name change of that site is annoyingly confusing no matter how much it makes sense business wise) which isn't exactly cheap and isn't nos, but should look pretty good at size. Most of what I've heard of them on the quality front has been positive and they probably used a scan of a nos piece as the base for it, which wouldn't run into the upsize issues being original size to begin with.

The image you came up with looks pretty decent, it's really just a question of how it'll look full size, any chance your friend can do a test print to see how it'd turn out?

The quality shoul be fine, the print size is only about 28x15. And my friend will print them for next to nothing. He printed the side art for my mame cabinet below, just to give you an idea of the quality

Here's my Robo. I went with nearly full sized side art. (printed by Mamemarquees)
