My Robocop more or less works correctly, but the majority of the light banks never light up. Most of the general lighting bulbs work, but the majority of the feature lamps never turn on. A few of the banks work, but most of them don't ever turn on. The bulbs are all fine.

You may have a problem with some portion of the lamp matrix. There may be a bad driver or a bad chip somewhere. Wouldnt hurt to check your fuses.

I checked every fuse in the cabinet. I am unsure as to how to check "drivers" and "chips". Is there a way to do that with the multimeter?

I'm not quite sure about solid-state, but this same thing happened to me on my electro-mechanical machine. After changing lights, cleaning/changing sockets and cussing I got the wiring diagram out. I found out that they were all wired together and through one connection on the Tilt relay

(I guess if you tilt the machine some lights also go out). I cleaned the contacts on the realy and bingo, the lights work. So, check out a wiring diagram, or schematic, and work your way backwards. It may be an easy fix!

Look at the lamp matrix... you may find a common wire that is used on all the lamps that are out. Trace the wire back to the board... 9 times out of 10 it's a bad solder joint.
