Has anyone that's used rob at pinball classics to repair their boards tell me how long it took you to get them back? I am going on 3 1/2 months since he received them. His last email he said he would be getting to them soon, but that was over a month ago. Is this a normal wait time with him?

3 1/2 months? Thanks for letting us know. That seems to be a ridiculous amount of time.

What kind of board was it? Borygard (off rgp) does a lot of WPC boardwork and is really good at it (and is local to you).

One was a DE sound board and the other was a sega display controller. He assured me it would not be a problem.

What kind of problems were they having. Not much that goes wrong on a display controller... (possiable PIA or CPU failure) Sound boards are caps or blown amps (atleast the few that I've worked on)

The sound board made sounds similar to a fax machine line. It had a lot of work done to it before I got the game. The display controller had all voltages. I tried different ribbon cables with no luck, there was still no images displayed. The display itself worked fine in another game. Both games have been shopped for 2 months now waiting on the boards.
