Earlier this week, Monday, I get a call on a lead of games. I do some diggin around and basically strike up a deal. There is supposed to be 30+ machines. So i try to figure the best way to get them all. I call up a friend, 7146aaron, who is supposed to be bring me 4 games. I talk to him and ask if he is interested in doing a roadtrip with me. I know that he has a trailer, so i ask him to use that when he brings my 4 games and then we will convoy up to get the other games. They are around 200 miles from me. So friday morning, aaron and a friend of his come to my place (150 miles) we unload his truck, and then take off for our 200 mile trip.

The games are on a third floor, many in disarray but the part are there. The guy gives great deals and offers many games for free if they are missing the monitor. After seeing how many games are there, i call up my usualy driver who is 100 miles away and tell him to bring the 3rd trailer (this is at 10am that we call the third trailer) We start using the elevator and loading up the two trailers that we have sitting outside. The OP informs me that he needs to leave soon, and our third truck is not here yet. So we load up the loading dock and sidewall with what i think will fit on the 3rd trailer. Pay the guy and he takes off. Now we wait, my 3rd driver is late, 3 hours late. We cant leave to eat because we have games sitting on the sidewalk, are trailers are loaded heavy so we really dont want to do extra driving wither.

While sitting for our bonus 3 hours, a guy walk up and ask if we work on games, I said yes and he says that he has a NBA Jam at his house that the monitor went out on it, that if we stop by, he will give it to us free and help load, he just wanted it gone. Look at the GPS and this guy is less than a mile from the interstate that we will be on, so we said sure (and did pick up the game)

I took aaron and his friend by a fellow klovers to show off his collection to, we had to have some fun in the trip

Total take for the day

34 25 inch monitor games and cabs (about 4 had no monitor)
5 19 inch games
12 jukeboxes
2 wallmount jukeboxes
1 dartboard
3 countertop poker machines
1 coutertop Jade 2 touchscreen

Games that had bad cabinets (ie one of the beachheads that you see on the dock) were free to help get the others going if they didnt work)

wow thats just crazy!! How much did you pay for all that?

Did i see a Cosmos Gang there? If so are you willing too sell the pcb?

What's is with the Tron that still looks like a Tron from the front but has some sweet looking "Romstar" sideart on it?!?

One hell of a load though. I hope you have a big shop/garage!

We have not figured out the Tronstar yet. We thought that it may have been converted to an arkanoid, however, all the guts are tron, including the board s, so it is a Tron, that just has romstar sideart

space is always an issue, and i have over 10,000 squarefoot of warehouse space

Nice haul indeed!

I gotta ask though, what's the deal with the cabs tilted on the trailer?

Thinking it's just how they were after ratcheting them down but wondering if I'm missing something.

Actually, the best games out of the deal were the Beachhead, I have no desire to have any of the load, but for me being a seller, they are actually very good titles. I am not a fan of golf and bowlers, but they sell great to average homeowners, not collectors. I sell about 50 or more jukeboxes every year, so those are good for me. And for some reason, i sell a load of hunting games to bar owners up in Wisconsin

With the price i paid for the load, it was a great day.

Tronkanoid

I am not sure what happend there. Someone painted the sides and put Romstar/Arkanoid art on it. I assumed it had been converted. The back door was locked. Troy felt inside before we loaded it and said it had a Tron powersupply and boardset in it. When I got home, I pulled the back off and sure enough, it is a Tron. I plugged it in and it worked. Huh. I will never understand the Romstar art. It will be off of it tomorrow.

That is my second largest trailer. I did not think there would be that many games there or I would have taken the big one. It is set up for skids and there is dunnage boards that run perpendicular. That is what caused the games to tilt.

Holy crap, I can't believe you found the rare prototype Mortal Golden Tee Kombat.

Yeah, nice score on that one.Scorpion wields a 5 iron instead of a spear in that game. His death move involves wrapping said 5 iron around the victim's neck after a failed attempt to save par.
