FINALLY got around to painting this thing. Gotta say, for the tiny amount of work it takes to do this, the payoff is huge.

As small as it looks in the pics, it's actually a very prominent piece on the machine. Even from a good distance away, mine sticks out like a sore thumb in this recent pic:

Its a huge part of the playfield, no doubt. No idea why I took so long to finally do it. Took all of 30 minutes. (well, if you dont include time for the paint to dry between coats).

BTW, like the lockdown bar...Howd you match the paint? The caution tape just the stuff from home depot etc?

Yep, think it's meant for Rural mailboxes. It's reflective, works and looks great. I did match that look in paint when I spruced up my Jurassic Park last Winter:
