Ok, I'm restoring a decent condition roadblasters. Just rebuilding and recrisping the edges and bottom corners, removing any swelling. Then replacing the half there artwork with richs custom roadblasters sideart. I ran into a small issue though and can't seem to find what others have done on here regarding it. I like to have all my games on small casters to maneuver and get off the ground, however on racing games with pedals....it's quite difficult to do this since the pedals will be farther off the ground without support.....how do you guys handle this? Even with leg levelers, (which I don't like as they drag and Marr up my tile, but love that they keep the game in place while playing) they tend to raise the game off the ground enough to create a support issue. I just don't want unnecessary stress on the wood when applying pressure to the pedals....or when kids like to stand on the pedal to lift themselves up to play. Should I attach or weld on a leg level to the bottom of the pedal? Thanks for the help!

For those games, if it's on the original leg levelers, you can do one of two things.

a) if it's on carpet then get the plastic smooth carpet sliders, it will be easy to move but will sink into the carpet and not move while playing.

b) if it's on tile, they sell the same sliders but have a smooth felt layer underneath to slide on tile and linoleum etc. Just the weight of the game should keep it in place while still protecting the floor.

Well when the levelers slide over my grout layers in between the tiles it tends to get stuck and start tearing off the felt or plastic parts of the levelers.

I still don't understand how this game can be off the ground in anyway given the pedal will be off the ground. Thats putting a lot of stress on the wood panel from pressing it down. Was this designed like that? Or was it designed to be flat on the ground and only sliders were used underneath it. I'm thinking of modding the cab to have slant back wheels on the back, then foot sliders in the front and maybe back corners so this sits as flat as it can, then when needed to move the game can be tilted back on the wheels.
