Heres the original flyer, looks like I was wrong and even the cockpit only has the gas pedal.

Unless the cockpit you are looking at is missing the original CP, it shouldnt be hard to strip out your UR and bring the cockpit back to life.

Yes it has a round steering wheel, with one button mounted above it???

You really are overthinking this. Just buy it. $50 for a working game (even converted) is a steal, its silly to pass it up. Cant be too hard to hack your UR wheel in (among other things).

The truth is I really dont think its ugly, I kinda like the way it looks. It is huge. Im going to take a second look.

I dont see the problem. The only difference I know of is the cockpit has a brake pedal (I think). It even has the same 19" monitor, with a fresnel lens to magnify it. If its JAMMA, youll have to rewire it anyway (if you want to convert it back), and I just realized from your signature that you already own an upright. My vote is buy it and put your upright parts in it. RB uprights are a plentiful, it would be nice to see a cockpit get restored back to its former glory.
