Figured out start a thread about the road trip I'm on, since it is because of this site that I'm heading out to pick up this game. Long story short, my wife, buddy, and his 10 year old son are headed from denver to albuquerque (7+ hours each way). Heading there to grab a sega super gt from the tilt in some mall.

So join us on this epic journey for gaming glory!

Oh, and the stash of mt dew to keep us awake:

Have a nice trip - hope the weather holds. Brings back memories of my journey to Topeka, KS for a Track & Field - 1200 miles round trip from Greeley. Did it in a single day. Wish I was going with you to pick up my own treasure, but alas all the treasure seems to be on the east coast these days!

Finally have cell service again. Hit some snow coming over raton pass, had to slow down to 30 mph for a few miles, but we are making good enough time now.

Road trips show dedication, and they can be fun in an "epic quest" kind of way! As well, the trip will now form part of the story the Super GT - its origin story, if you will. And I'm probably not alone in the geeky anticipation one feels driving out to get a cab, kind of like a mini-Christmas if you're so inclined.

7 1/2 hour's,that suck's bro,the tilt down here with the row of GT'S is 3.7 miles from my place.but i think you already know that just had to rub it in,LOL. good luck and be careful on the road.

Gee thanks. There was one in denver for this price, but it sold before I even heard about this deal. All of the other, closer ones were $1500 because they had "upgraded" monitors (lcd)
