Yay brother!

FINAL RALLY
TANKS FULL
ONE CHANCE

This is about the 6th or 7th time I made it to level 50 and I beat it!
This feeling is why I play these stupid games. I can't imagine doing it back in the 80's.

It took about 19 continues, but of course, you have to beat level 50 on one shot.

It asks you to enter your initials, birth month and day and then it tacks on a 4 digit checksum or something. Mine was JEW5 :)

Pretty cool game.

Did you send in for your Tshirt?:D

I never even saw what one of those T-shirts looked like. Someone should reproduce them if we ever find one. But you can only buy with proof that you beat level 50. ;)

Congrats Kerry!

I never would have spent 20 quarters/tokens on this thing back in the day.

I always gravitated to games that I could get my money's worth on. When free play is in your face, then hey- even SPECTAR is cool!

I never played the game in the 80's. I own one now.

A couple of years ago I decided I was going to get to the end of the game. I was very disappointed when I only got 1 shot at level 50. :(

It was my only attempt at it. FAIL

If someone repros the shirts, I'm interested. :D

A quick Google shows no images for the shirt, but it seems like I saw one years ago somewhere on the net. It may not have been legit, I suppose.

In any case, a repro one would be awesome. I need a RB kit, too. Anyone want to trade for a MM kit? Not straight across, but we could work something out.

I don't think you can send in for the shirt. In less you get in a Delorean and go back to August 31 1987. Ha Ha. Great job on getting that far. I have this sign that goes on top of an upright, but i was thinking about putting it on the cockpit when it gets done.

only 1000 given away for that, slim chance one will pop up now

The forums over at AtariAge have this thread

http://www.classicarcadegaming.com/forums/index.php?topic=967.0

that discusses a RB world record and a guy saying he had the shirt back in the day. Then MDARULZ, a mod over there it seems, jumps in and says he bought this shirt (below) from a collector. He never really states it's original, but it matches the description given by the first guy except for the color of the neck and arm cuffs.

Dude, awesome!!! I did dis some years back.

SEND IN THE CODE!!! When we did it, the contest was LONG over, but I got back a letter and 2 atari stickers for my hard work!

I found it cool that they even acknowledged the fact that I sent in the code.

Nice work! That level 50 is TOUGH!!! We took a few tries before we got it, oce finishing literally 2 pixels before the finish line. AAAAAARGH!!!!!

Chris

I'll take a stab at this level 50 in a few days when I get my cockpit RB. I may have made it about half way there on one game BITD. Now I can continue as much as I want to get there.

Congrats Kerry! You are now an official 'Masterblaster'. :D Here's a pic of the shirt that Atari would send out (photo is from member "atariscott" who owns the original film for it):

Very cool! Congrats!

Just finished piecing together a Road Blasters. But I do not want to swap out my MM!

I did it last night with 14 credits.
I thought I was going to hit it with 10, but that final 'sensors detect fuel globes' round kicked me over and over.
