I have for sale a Riverservice JVS to Jamma adapter. This allows you to play jamma games in a JVS cabinet. This is in working condition. However, please view pics and the history of this item to ensure it is what you are looking for. I have decided this is not for me. This is my experience with these items.
I originally bought one awhile back. This was to play jamma games in my Universal Lindbergh cab. Well I bought one, couldn't figure the dame thing out. So I sold it. Then recently, I decided I was going to buy another one and see if the first one I got was just a fluke. Neither one came with instructions.
I bought the one you see here. I installed the unit on my Lindbergh cab again. Verified all the voltages. I was able to get video and sound. This item only kicks out 15 khz. You will need an upscaler to use this with a HD screen. I was not able to get the controls to work. My Lindbergh uses a I have a JVS I/O board Type 3, Model 837-14572.
I have heard that the Riverservice adapter works perfectly with Type 1 Sega I/O boards.
I attached the I/O board from my Vewlix cab to the Riverservice adapter. I was able to get controls to work, however there was a huge delay. So that is my history.
On a side note, this item has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The only place you can now buy these is from an ebay user who chargers about $280 (shipped)
Although not seen, this includes a kickharness
