Rick Beato talks arcade games (and music)

Rick Beato is one of the more popular and celebrated music YouTubers (if that's the right term). If you are at all into music, and especially if you're a musician, do yourself a favor and check out his feed.

Today he talks about getting to meet jazz keyboardist Lyle Mays in 1981 (the first thing Mays asked him was, "is there an arcade around here?"), and along the way name-checks Asteroids, Gunsmoke and World Series.

He's amazing. I just wish I could go see him play live somewhere here in town, but my pro musician friends who know him say he's retired from all that.

friggin' EPIC! i'm a new fan of these KLOS sessions, obviously cuz this shit is out of LA cali man. that gd state has every fucking thing in the world there. amazing!
