Thanks a ton Rich-- well worth the wait! The Asteroids Deluxe CPOs came in a half-hour ago and snapped off some pictures. Very quality work here people! I'll have to add more on the restoration side later on tonight since my wife has me doing "Honeydo" projects today to get the house clean for family coming this weekend from out of state for Halloween. More on this later! Thanks again Rich, can't wait to get this installed as well! Installation pictures to follow....

I am still in for one of these, so let the ordering begin. Hopefully, someone saved me one since I was "on the list". :)

They look fabulous!

Home-made as in different laminate or as in ghetto-all-the-way? Was that the one on CL with another game? I got one on your list Scott-- need not to worry! ;)

I finally completed the installation of the new CPO, looks great! I ended up bead-blasting the metal CP and used paint thinner to remove the remaining adhesive residue. Peeling off the old CPO was a pain since it disintegrating into smaller pieces as I was removing it. After that, I used Rustoleum auto primer and then a coat of matte black finish Rustoleum paint. In the home stretch, I used a Xacto knife and cut the pilot hole for the start button and partially peeled back the adhesive paper from the right side and applied the art from right to left-- squeegeeing it as I went along. I got it pretty straight; however, I had to wrestle the overlay on the bend of the metal at each end. A little massaging technique and the CPO will eventually submitt due to the thickness of the material. Big props got out to AtariScott and RikiTiki! Thanks guys and I hope this helps with your application!
