Looking for a possible trade:
I have an all original Revolution X. From the tokens inside this cab was originally from the U.C. Berkeley Student center. All serials match. The cab was not working as the PCB had Cap rot. I replaced the PCB and recapped the new board. Still have the original for parts. This has a 25" K7000 that was working and also untouched. I recapped the chassis, I'm hoping that my reputation proceeds me at this point for K7000 service, but assume it's super solid. Soundboard and power supply are also recapped. All parts from Arcadepartsandrepair.com
So basically it will be as solid as any cab could possibly be functionality-wise.
Cosmetically it's a 8/10 the art is a bit faded, but overall very good condition with very little scratching or other issues. The biggest cosmetic issue is the small corner broken off in the front left. Honestly if you painted it black no one would notice and it's not worthwhile to me to destroy the original art so I left it.
The gun bases were removed and sanded and painted. No the best job, but no more rust. I repaired the 2nd player gun stops so the gun doesn't bang into the glass. The 1st player side is fine. The guns track fine, but I did add a small bit of duct tape under the gears so they don't slip at all.
Pretty clean, vacuumed, glass cleaned, filthy monitor cleaned. Etc. Etc.
Plays and sounds perfect. I love the concept of this game and had one in the arcade that I worked at, but it doesn't feel right in my lineup. I'd like to see if anyone local would trade for a complete game or project with cash or possibly just cash. It's a fun game and a must for an Aerosmith fan. Have all the original manuals as well.
Some trade ideas:
T2
SmashTV
Pac family, especially class of 81 machine 19"
Crazy Taxi standup
Anything interesting really.
