Hello Gentlemen,
I have just completed my multicade with the King of Game pcb in it and I wanted to start a review thread for the KoG board because there is not one yet. To be honest, overall, I am very pleased with the performance of this board. The Capcom fighters are very impressive and I have played several of the Neo Geo games with little complaint. All is not perfect, of course. As is the case with many multiboards, there are sound glitches and some of the games have very brief visual glitches (the main character disappears momentarily). There is also some noticeable slow-down when the board is under a heavy load (e.g., 5 or more enemies on the screen for Shock Troopers 2nd Squad) but that is understandable as well. I had my friend go through and play several of the Capcom fighters (that is his specialty) and he said they play fantastic. I encourage anyone else who has played this board to add their own experiences with it to this thread to facilitate those considering what board to use in a multi.

Couple of updates. I wanted to add some cons to this thread because I think they are important to know about.

1. The multiboard does not have a free play option. I know some boards do and some do not, this one does not.

2. There are not any soft dipswitch settings for every game. I was building this multicade for a guy who wanted this board in it because of the game inventory, and he did not care about dipswitch settings. That may be fine for casual players, but I am sure for many of us, this is an immediate fatal blow.

I have an order to build another one of these so I will get pictures of the multiboard when that one comes in. My camera was dead when the guy came to pick up the other one.

I love this PCBs as well overall its great, but has a few minor issues. One main con that I noticed is that I went to use the headphone jack to use the speakers that were in the LCD monitor that I used. When I plugged into that jack it would short something out and I would not get audio and I would lose all blue on the screen. I tried this with 3 VGA KoGs and all had the some problem. I didnt try it with the CGA versions.

Another con is that you need to choose if you want a VGA or CGA version unless you pay $20ish more and get a King of Kung-fu 200-in-1(second image) its the same inside the black case it just has a few more components on it. I cannot find a game list to see what the difference is in the 12 games.
