This is the second game I picked up in that Star Wars auction, its working but has some monitor burn and some of the sounds don't work. I get most of the voices from the right speaker, the left speaker just hisses and I have no music or gun noises. I tried cleaning the contacts but that made no difference so I'm wondering if maybe I should reseat the chips. Any ideas on what to check next? This isn't the best game but its working and I'm looking forward to getting it working right. I might even try to find a replacement tube for the G07 at some point.

If wiggling all of the connectors to the ARII or on the main PCB doesn't do anything, then I would try rebuilding the ARII first. Those caps can get old and crappy just like a monitor chassis. Bob Roberts sells the rebuild kits.

I just found the problem last night. There is a secondary board that is connected to the PCB and screwed into the case. Someone removed the screw and the board feel off. Once it was installed all the sound came. I found a bunch of little hacked things on this machine but I'm getting it dialed in now.
