RetroPie was released today for the Raspberry Pi 4.

I have spent the morning testing and it appears to be 100%
compatible with my JAMMA4PI board.

I will be updating all the config files and will make the image available
to anyone who needs it.

Yay and boo. I just got a version 3 PI :p.

Don't get too upset. I haven't figure out why yet, but the Mame games
run very slow in 240p. Booting is slow as well in 240p. Takes about 5 times
longer to boot in 240p then HDMI.

A small update -

I've given up with Retropie and the Pi 4. There are known timing issues
with the RGB output routines. For whatever reason, Mame runs very slow/
choppy.

I've been working with Lakka instead. It's much faster and I don't see any
issues so far. Since it's Lakka there are a few minor annoyances - Mainly there
is no command line prompt. To get a command prompt you need to connect to
a network and SSL in from a remote computer.

I've made an image for anyone interested. It needs a 32GB or larger card.
This is a Lakka limitation, had I known when I started I would have used a smaller card.
I had no luck shrinking the image.

This version runs on an RGB monitor in 1920x240 mode. It resizes games to fit
the existing screen so they look very good without any blockiness or skipped
lines. Tate mode is used to the screen will automatically rotate for vertical
or horizontal games.

Send me a PM if you want it.
