retro fit a 25" wells in a 28"hantarex frame

my operation thunderbolt has a 28" hantarex mtc 9110 that has a very dim tube and i can't rejuvenate it...i have an extra 25" wells k7000...if you take the back support off the hantarex frame, the 25" wells will fit in it frame and all...there's no way to attach it to the frame, but it lays flat since it's in a shooting game that uses a mirror...you can't even really tell that it's any smaller when you're playing the game

drill some holes in the frame and buy some spacers mount the k7000 and your done.

update? do you have pics?

I have a 27" hanterex also. I'd love to swap that out for a 27" K7000 or maybe a 25".

25" monitor into a Atari System 1 cabinet???

Has anyone put a 25" monitor into a Atari System 1 cabinet??? I would be very interested to hear any information about this. Is this possible?

Chris

i did this in an operation thunderbolt. it has a monitor that lays flat and uses a mirror above it...you can fit the k7000 (tube, chassis AND frame) inside the frame that held the hantarex...if you don't use the hantarex frame, the k7000 monitor is too narrow
