Sadly, parting it out will be easier. It is a beautiful game, but there is no way I'd ever pay $6500 for a game.... and I'm probably not the only one. Therefore the market for the game as it sits is limited.
Moving the cab on KLOV might not be too bad depending on price, and the vector monitors command a good deal of money. Same with Quantum PCB.... eBay would probably net you the most on that one.
I agree though in that it would be a shame for this game to get broken back down.
I do hope that someone who has deep enough pockets buys it and appreciates the game and the hard work that went into making it. But to move it whole, you'll need to use KLOV, eBay, CL, and probably more, and be at it for some time till you hit that one person who can drop $6.5K w/o concern and who really wants it.
I'm going to do Quantum probably in a Space Duel cab using a repro PCB. Only way I'm going to afford one.
