just so the description doesn't get altered.

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Restored Original Mario Bros Arcade. This is an original Mario Bros Arcade that was restored by me. It has the original Mario Bros Circuit board in great working order and very clean. I replaced the outdated power supply with a more efficient 450Watt switched power supply and replaced the old 19" CRT monitor with a 20" VGA LCD. The arcade has a HD Video board, . Includes a VGA LCD for great graphics and even more of a savings in electricity!!

I used the original Joysticks ball bearing; they are made of metal and use an actual metal ball bearing for thousands of hours of rough play, as opposed to the plastic joystics today. The brick paneling doesn't have any stickers, but Mario Bros Side Art can be added for a $75.00 fee for the Vinyl Sticker...but I like it as is. This has a two coin slot with lights. Start charging your kids for video game time:)))

This is not to be mistaken with Super Mario....this is the first and it is a Head to Head 2 player machine. You can play with or against each other. Mario and Luigi started here...so should you:)

Comes with Original Manual with full schematics and wiring diagrams!! Can easily swap PCB with another compatible Nintendo Board !!

Is it possible that he built the game? The coin door's wrong, the speaker holes are missing, etc.

He may have built it from scratch, or had a cabinet so horribly destroyed he had to do things like replace the entire front of the game (and put the wrong coin door in).

Strange.

Besides the rest, an LCD monitor is never an upgrade for a classic machine IMHO.

The only time I'd ever see an LCD as a bonus would be if the original monitor was included, no alterations to the cabinet had been made to fit the LCD, and I could swap them both in five minutes.

looks to me like he took some blue plastic and made appliques for the front. HE then bs'ed new speakers and a different coin door to the appliques. Probhabkly smashed underneath or he didnt want to cough up the dough for a correct coin door.

My understanding was a "Restoration" was to RESTORE something.

This looks like a mentally challenged individual attempted a "Customization", and failed on their episode of "Pimp my Arcade". Someone please kill this monstrosity with FIRE... and once it is burning well, toss in the village idiot that condemed this poor PCB to live its life in this failed Nintendo knock-off...
