I recently picked up a Crystal Castles and need some help understanding how things work. I already resolved all of the audio issues I was having but am encountering graphics issues. I've already ran the self test and checked power, all of that seems to be good. The game plays just fine, just having some graphics problems.

Any ideas on where to start with this one?

Edit: I tested the roms, they all tested good. Ran the fluke and did the ram test and it seems like it is working fine.

This problem has been resolved. It ended up being a bad LS191 (Signetics SA chip) at 3N. All the RAM verified just fine using the fluke 9010, so I started looking in the bit-mode non-sense. After talking with @Tr3vor42532 for a while, we decided to try poking around the auto-increment section because the CPU itself could read and write to the RAM directly.

While setting up a profile on my logic analyzer, I piggybacked an LS191 on it and saw some improvement.

After replacing 3N, everything was working just fine! Now I just gotta fix some of the hacks people did to the control panel wiring then I will be done with this machine.

it's a shame that the self test doesn't try to write shit to the dram with the auto increment circuit and then read it back to test it, that would make it a bit easier to troubleshoot.
