I know with replacing capacitors, the capacitance has to be correct, but the voltage can be anything greater than or equal to the voltage of the cap you're replacing.
Is there a similar thing with Wattage of resistors?
I'm replacing a 2.7 ohm 2 watt resistor. Can I replace it with a 2.7 ohm 3 watt resistor?
