This is something we are doing now in my Electronic'c class, learning about resistors and what there color bands represent. We had do an experiment where we got 5 resistors and used a Digital Multi-Meter to get the ohms of each, real interesting stuff I'am going to be learning, that I know can use for repairing pinball machines. Since the purchase of my first pinball machine I knew I better learn how to fix it myself, and owning a pinball machine gave me interest in getting an education on electricity. Next class Wednesday we are doing circuits and measuring current. To me it's fun, when I do things to my pin my wife says I'am smiling while I'am working on it. I'am not wanting to be a pinball repairman, just wanting to get some knowledge to fix my own. I'am looking to get into Boeing or Hewlett, Packard, will see when it's time.

So where are you taking this class?

Sounds interesting and I could probably benefit from it too.

Ya it's at MCC Mesa Community College, they are tops as far as electronic technology courses, alot of hands -on which is good. Lot's of interesting stuff, that will be useful for me in repairing my own machine, and to also work for major company.
