Hi members
Has anyone had this cab scanned and vectored for art files ?
I would really appreciate it if you could share with me as I'm trying to make a dedicated rescue for my Jamma cab.
I know it's a very rare cab but I have a original pcb and it was a game I loved bitd
Would really appreciate it
Many thanks
Alex

I passed on a very clean dedicated one because I was there for another game that tapped me out. That brought to two the number of Rescues I have seen... The one I played as a kid, and the one I *should* have bought! They guy that had it was selling everything off because he was moving.

I still play it all the time in MAME, what a great game.

Rescue is an awesome game and the one I always make sure to play when I go to Funspot arcade in NH. There's does have side art but it's a little faded and I'd have to pull out the game to get at it, if I think of it I'll try to get some scans next time I'm up there, but that might be a while. That said I thought someone was doing repro Rescue side art? I can't remember who, maybe thisoldgame or something.

Agreed, very underrated. Wicked fun game and ohhhh that parallax scrolling.

Someone recently listed a dedicated marquee but that's the only Rescue item I've seen come up in a long time.

Cool game. Haven't seen it before. We need this on the BITKIT assuming it can manage the controls (2x 8way + bomb button). :)

Hardware is nearly the same as Super Cobra. I added it to my multigame a couple of years ago but still need to sort out the graduated colour background

It's a great game, as is Minefield which is very similar

I've asked before about the implementation of Twin Stick shooters + 1 button games.
Sadly, I'm not sure if it's going to go anywhere... :-/

Lost Tomb is still a possibility. Figuring how to support the twin sticks is the catch. Not many people have that kind of control panel available, and adding a mapping option for fire = button + joystick direction (like I did for Vanguard for 1 button support) could work. That would change the game a bit (harder), since it is pretty frantic action.
If it happens:
Stern Lost Tomb
Stern Rescue
Stern Minefield
Stern Tutankham

I wouldn't mind having a separate control setup just for these games. Similar to how Sinistar is to a JROK pcb.

Crafty, on his new version 2 BitKit, should add an expansion header. Jrok did it, so can he. :D
