I picked up a Rescue 911 pinball machine, but every harness was unplugged as the head was removed from the body for transport. I thought I had them all where they go, but apparently I do not. I have 1 A27J2 2 wire connector left without seeing where it goes to. Also the lower left driver pcb, 5 of the connectors are labeled A3, but the top right is labeled A8. Judging by the wire lengths it has to go there though. Is there a diagram in the original manual if I purchase one? Just want to get all the wires back where they go.

ordered
and the 2nd fuse in base, the power supply 2.5 slo blo is bad, so ordered another pack.

I don't have any sys3's anymore but sometimes the connectors are sneaky and hard to find when the machine is together.

Hope you find it!

the disc under the helicopter seems to be mounted with 3 c clamps. 2 of mine are missing. Anyone with this machine know size or part number? Manual on way but I am anxious to fix this paperweight, lol.

ok, fused replaced. extra harness is for an auxiliary board. Game lights but doesn't boot. Manual says fuse 5 bad, which I replaced and is now good. The 2 boards to the right in the head, A1 and A8, but have a red led1 light. Both are lit solid red. Also on game power on, game speakers make a loud sound. Any ideas???
thank you

I'm on mobile so it sucks to read but
The loud noise on boot is normal.

You can try to reseat all connectors.

I can look through my old waterworld pics and see if I have any of inside the head. Otherwise we just need to find some pics to see if that is all plugged in correctly.

Did the game work before? If it did before transport, things shake loose. Could reseat the rom chip(s). Or a cold solder joint. I usually send all my boards off to get returned by coin op cauldron, as he has the tools and "time" more then I do. But then it takes out those pesky hard to find board issues.

I did get the game up and running. I noticed it doesnt boot 100% of time, and manual suggests the U11 chip is starting to fail on the mpu.
Now I am being reminded of how troublesome pinballs are, lol.

Biggest problem is the sensors in the heliport on the left rarely activate, making the ball get stuck there. I dont have a second opto pcb to check the pcb. Not sure if its the pcb or 1 of the 2 playfield sensors.

I ran self test 5, the switch matrix test. There is a list of inoperative switches.

switch 5 tournament
switch 23 outhole
switch 33 trough
switch 34 ball lift down
switch 80 ball lift opto
switch A0 heli upper stop opto
switch 90 heli lower stop opto

not even sure how to trouble shoot these.I normally stick with vids.
