The BS here on the forums has NOT derailed my intentions. 'nuff said. :)

Just keep your pants on and watch.

Dave

P.S. Those prices listed were pre-sale prices, btw. Damn, it's too bad I had to pull the offer! LOL I *might* still let the first FEW go at that price.

Cool. Lets see some pics of the cabs in the works, I think that would help ease some of the doubt also. Got pics?

Dave, Maybe you shouldn't announce new products or take preorders UNTIL the stuff is actually Done/ready to ship. You're products are GREAT but the time it takes to get the stuff Sucks. I'm just glad you don't sell WAY Overpriced artwork;)

I'm contemplating exactly WHAT to post up. Everyone just told me to take it all down. LOL Let me work on the Amplifone monitors and we'll start there. I'll post up a spread of glorious photos to complement my release post.

LOL

You got me there!!

Personally, I would like to see Dave catch up before taking on more and more sales and ambitious projects. I also don't think the value of original machines will drop at all. I personally would rather have an original than one with an Amplifone made in China. As someone who worked on a lot of Chinese made home appliances, I have my doubts when it comes to their reliability.

Darin is right about one thing, there are a lot of new people in this hobby that do not know a lot of the history of how some reproductions came to be. Tron side art for one. Just reminding you that not everything you did went perfect either.

I think Dave's heart is in the right place and he is not out to rip anyone off. I also think it would be best to stop posting things until you really are ready to ship.

I agree with most of what you're saying.

Oh, and the vector tubes are made in South Korea. :)

I consider that a BIG difference, FWIW.

Dave's ok in my book. He has a lot on his plate and may be over his head a bit and that can be a bad/negative thing sometimes. I offered to assemble some yokes for him and I even offered to take over his small parts sales via my site so he could concentrate on doing controller & cabinet assembly. That would ease up some shipping delays. We are still talking about it.....

Hey guys,

I would love to ultimately work something out where all I have to do is MAKE the parts and leave absolutely every other aspect (assembly/sales/shipping) to others. That would be the most ideal situation for me. Then I can focus on what I do best - making kick ass parts!

Mylstar has been a good friend over the years and I want to see his business flourish. My daily sales volume would clearly help his bottom line, I'm sure. Still mulling over the details. :)

I like when he does that.. I like reading the little project blogs.

Although I don't have any cabs that need those parts......

All I bought from him was a couple of pots and a cone button.

I think that makes a lot of sense. And I would rather pay a decent price and have good service than rock bottom sales prices and never get my item. I currently do not have anything on order, but I am reluctant to place one.

good guy

Im new here and have ordered a couple MC trackball kits from Ram Controls, yes shipping was a little slow due to paypal mix up and him being overloaded with orders, but both times he went above and beyond to make it right. Both orders were shipped UPS next day air and 1 of the orders he gave me more than double what I ordered. This reminds me of the Mario Bros. side art thread, people just attacking and ruining things for others. If you don't like the price or product just move along. Good luck with the project, hope it works out for everyone.
