I'm not trying to make myself look good, I'm trying to be a GOOD member of the community. I give away stuff all the time that's not even done publicly. And I deal with old school people all the time.
Perhaps it's because you don't frequent the groups, but I have explained myself regarding the situation in 2007 MANY times.
Brasington - He was paid back in full. End of story
Archer - I don't know what he's smoking, but his story is not true. I really think he has me confused with someone else! In fact, I never saw anything at all about this until this last round of lynching came up. Seriously, I have no idea what the hell he's talking about!
Capps - Still working it out. Lingering deal for a long time. He disappeared for a long time and left everyone hanging, myself included. I am in communication with him and we'll work it out.
Gregory - We both hopped in on this deal. we BOTH lost. He wants me to take full hit for it which I'm fine with. We've been talking about a suitable conclusion to this for some time now. Still nowhere with it, though. And it's not for lack of trying. We'll work it out.
And, quite frankly, I've been around far longer than you may realize. That has nothing to do with anything.
I never claimed to have the films. I said the artwork is made from the films. I was specifically speaking of the cockpit artwork. It does not take a genius to figure this one out.
Darin, I try to be as cool to you as possible, but you make it difficult for me at times. I refer people to you often and I don't bad mouth you. You might have a problem with my business tactics. Fine. It's a hobby and I treat it as such. Perhaps this is a problem. I get that and I've been trying to work on it, but I can only go so far with it when I have work/family which takes priority in my life.
What I cannot accept is when you badmouth me on phonecalls/emails with people who are common friends between us. That's just NOT cool and I find it highly offensive. Plus, it makes them feel uncomfortable because they're as loyal to me as I am to them. Perhaps you should rethink this trend of yours because every time you do it, they tell me about it. I think there's a real possibility that it's making you look bad. What people see from me in response? "Darin is cool, he just has a problem with me. He makes really awesome artwork, though." Ask anyone. I do NOT badmouth you because I give you that courtesy as a human being who shares the same friends I do.
Why can't you and I agree to disagree and keep to ourselves? I don't bother you, only try to help you by sending paying customers in your direction. I'm not asking you to send anyone my way, just keep your cool and stop antagonizing me and our common friends. There's really no point to it other than what appears to be hatred. I want to be wrong and believe that you don't hate my guts, but you've never shown me any reason to believe otherwise.
Look, I keep making reproduction parts - I've made so many different parts, it's sick. It seems to me that this fact alone should give me some level of acceptance from you, no matter how tiny. Can't we build on that and find a common ground to just get along?
I'd love it. Though, I'm sure it would make KLOV a little less interesting. LOL
Maybe we could agree to take this to PM and drop it...forever?

Dave, I dont frequent the groups like you and while I give plenty of stuff away for free and have for many many years, I dont' do it to try to look good to newbies.
I came and posted here because I was asked to by 3 people who were burned by you but know if they say something whatever loyal followers you have will quickly dismiss them. Heck even Im being dismissed! How can you explain your bad dealings in the thread I read on Vectorlist with Brasington, Gregory, Archer, Capps? These guys have been around far longer than you.
I actually hope you succeed as Id like to get a SW for $2500. But your track record isnt too good and newbies (1-3 years) should be aware of it before handing over money. I never said Adams is a dick or an asshole. I leave that to others. Im simply saying youre a bad business person with lots of shaky, incompleted dealings with many people. How can you claim to have films for the upright when Scott says he has them? Where are pics of your progress? You've been selling me on the idea of new games since 2006 and saying theyre just about to come out. Its now 2010.
