This is cool. I have a clone pong PCB that has been collecting dust in hopes someday of a Pong cabinet for it..
Haha... the good old AY-3-8500 pong-on-a-chip.
Haven't seen one of those in a while.

I'll probably get them done soon now. I'll post here when I have them.Did the Pong PCBs ever go into production ? And if so are any available for sale? Id like to buy some.
They're being manufactured now, I'll probably receive them by the end of next week. These are basically 1:1 repro's from the original board.I'll probably get them done soon now. I'll post here when I have them.

I have the pcb's. They do have solder mask but they're goldplated and look great. I cannot check if once built if they'll work straight away so until someone builds one there's a small risk when buying one that it may nnot work straight away. They're being manufactured now, I'll probably receive them by the end of next week. I have sold a couple of pcb's, I have yet to finish populating one and trying it out. Too many other things got in the way.@Cameraman
I was curious... a year has gone by... I was wondering how your pong project has been going?
Now that you've bumped me, I've now at least ordered all the IC's that I didn't have in stock.I have sold a couple of pcb's, I have yet to finish populating one and trying it out. Too many other things got in the way.
