Reproduction Ghosts N Goblins Cabinet

Small update here but wanted everyones opinion on the reproduction bezel and marquee's we had made. Thank you to @ReproArcade for working the files and cleaning them up. I scanned my original marquee @Phetishboy sold me a little while back and had the file cleaned up. The Brown is a little bold, I have to do a side by side comparison for the final cut but these looked super nice!

I will post a direct comparison from my original bezel/marquee here in a bit.

Yes, that brown is intense. And the yellow highlights are too weak in the trees. But mostly the brown is too saturated.

We need the side-by-side comparison to be sure.

Yep - So I have an original CP at a metal place who are going to do a run of 10. Today they said it'll take 5-6 weeks and I'll get a chance to fit the first prototype to my cabinet to check it before they do the proper run.
I genuinely won't be looking to profit from this run but do hope to recuperate some of the costs of the place producing the units and making a file of all the measurements etc. Fingers crossed it all works out.
I'm in for one as well

I have all the CNC Plans now complete. I have done a bunch of vinyl cutting with my plotter to just confirm a few sections on the cabinet and I would say the CNC files are about 98-99% accurate to my original GnG.. I am waiting on the update for the Metal control panel from @Dr BB (NO RUSH BTW). I have compared the artwork I had printed to the originals I have and the yellow was fine but the brown was a bit to bold. The files were updated to reflect those changes so when I do a run of Bezel & Marquees they will be spot on!

The plan is to do a run of about 5 GnG Cabinets here at the beginning of 2025. Feel free to reach out if this is something that will interest you. The cabinet pricing will depend if you want it laminated properly, if you want the cabinet out of a birch core or something cheaper like particleboard melamine, If you want an art kit included with it. I will not be selling cabinets with control panels so that's upto you to source.

Finally got the CP prototype back from the metal place. Clips into an original cab fine and hinge works fine. Button holes are a few millimeters diff to original (they used the overlay to map them) so I'm going to get that adjusted and push the button on production.
My cab is warped hence the gap to the left hand side for those that are eagle eyed. Same with the original CP.
The final version will be zinc coated but not the same colour as the original....it will be silver.
First 2 go straight to @p0rgy8190 but when I get over to the USA (probably Nov) I'll bring as many as I have left. 1000060738.jpg1000060737.jpg1000060736.jpg1000060727.jpg1000060723.jpg1000060739.jpg

That looks amazing.

This is looking great.

I'm trying to learn about CP and other sorts of front panel design. What software are you using for the cad design of the CP, and do you have a preferred metal fab place?

I still want to purchase one. Do you have a tally of the 10 spots that are already claimed?

OK these are back and I've fitted one to my cab. Only diff to original is the hinge bolts are slightly shorter. Still fits the cab but not much thread for the nut and wouldn't go through anything thicker. They are zinc coated and the CPO went on fine without any paint or primer.
I think they are pretty much all taken, maybe even be that I don't have enough. I'll go thru the names soon and PM those that have asked. I'm afraid the dollar to uk pound has taken a bit of a hit but I'm selling them for equivalent of £145 which is currently $180. Apologies its a lot. Good news is I'll bring them over to the US and mail them from there. That will take a while though as I won't be over there until maybe Dec.
If it's too expensive I do also have the data file that could be used to get your own done. Or you can wait for the exchange rate to drop or me to drop the price if they don't sell.
@p0rgy8190 ill get yours to you as soon as i am over there.

Awesome. I need a cabinet at some point, but I'd even take a control panel. I think I had a want to buy about this earlier in the year or maybe it was last year.

Am finally in a position to start sending some of these panels out. Sent some to @p0rgy8190 and they got there fine. So i'll send them as i wont be back in USA til more like March now. Price is US180 including shipping. Over the next few weeks I'll pm those that registered interest. I sold 2 in UK plus 2 to US so hope I have enough for everyone. Think I do but with none spare. Will be in touch.
