I need to replace the two long vertical bulbs on either side of the door to my Hyperbeam II. From the looks of it this is something of a project requiring me to pretty much take apart the door. Two questions, 1) Is it easier than I think and, 2) Are they instructions somewhere for replacing them?

Just wondering, thanks.

Can't say for sure on the Hyperbeam, but on the Firebird series (almost the exact same cabinet), there is a screw on the bottom of each side of the door that holds the light brackets up inside the door. Remove the screws and the light assemblies can be slid down from inside the door and removed for service.

Look very carefully for this or a similar setup before taking the door totaly apart (major job). NSM boxes generally have provisions for servicing the lamps, however NSM was never very good at making these things very obvious.
