I've got a Konami X-Men cab and I'd like to add "start" buttons to it but that spot on the jamma cable is empty. So I robbed some pins/wires from another jamma connector that Nixs sold me (coin counter wires I don't care about) but when I try to insert them they don't ever seem to snap in place. Does this mean I have two different types that aren't compatible? Or is it possible that I'm just inserting them wrong? Thanks.

If they came from another jamma harness they should be compatible. The older AMP housings use pins that are not compatible with the molex housings.
After you remove them you might need to pull the locking tab back out a little.

Thanks. They don't really seem to fit right though. When I push them in they kinda twist. How can I tell the difference between the Amp and Molex versions?
