Im planning on replacing the dead G05 in my AD with a 19V2000. Im thinking it should be just an easy switch? They both have a standard 12 wire plug, Do they both use the same wiring layout?

To go from a G05-801 to the 19v2000 you must use an adapter. The easy way to tell - look at the middle bottom of your monitors frame. If there is a board there with large capacitors and a few other components, it is the (801), if there is no board at all in this position it is the (802).

ADs came with an 802 or a 19v2000. They are completely interchangeable. Same connector, same voltages and pinout. If it has an 801 in it. Just pull the adapter off and plug in the 19v2000

at long last, I can say.......Eets Alive!! Eets Alive! Monitor looks and plays beautifully, get the black light going tomorrow and Im set
Thanks Guys!
