Bought a new used D9200 WG off Ebay. Of course it came broke. Havnt heard back from seller yet, but it is a weekend. The yoke is broken, and I havnt seen any places that sell just the yoke? Ive seen those universal kits, but they come with chassis and all that suff I dont need.
Incidentally, i didnt find the broken yoke until after i fired it up. The picture is synced in fine, the image was just crooked and the colors are way off. I then found the yoke to be all cracked up and seperated from the tube.

Its unknown what the seller is gonna say, but what are my options?
HELP!!!

thanks

Yup, looks like it. The plastic is broke, and it is bot bonded anymore. If I hold it to the tube, the picture is perfectly fine. Is there a way to re bond it? I was thinking if the seller doesnt help, i could zip tie it on. Thoughts?

Silicone glue.

Cool! Thanks Ken, I feel lots better now that I have a "back up plan".

Hope the seller doesnt read KLOV, and try to be mean cause Ive been messing with it.

I guess I should request a partial refund, Im thinking maybe $100? That would basically mean I bought it in current broken condition for $100, I think thats fair.

We will see, Im assuming they will get my email tmw

You need to check it carefully. I had a bonded 9200 yoke "break loose". The chassis was also fried. Turns out the tube cracked under the bond when it broke loose and it fried the chassis when someone tried to power it up. Make sure the tube isn't cracked under there...

thanks for the info.

Turned it on, I can get the image straight, but the colors fade in and out, the bottom 1 inch of the image is messed up, the top 1 inch is real fuzzy, its beyond just siliconing the yoke back together.

I really dont want to have to pay to ship it back to return it, because it came broke, that would just be throwing away 100 bucks. After that, i coulda just bought a new one! Ive been looking for a monitor for this stupid game for about 6 months!! It would be nice to catch a break!

Well, I have been in email contact with the seller. He requested pictures of the damage, I explained about the yoke not being bonded to the tube and being all cracked up. I agreed to take some pictures and happened to checl the auction again to see if I could see the cracks in the auction pictures. The auction said "excellent working condition", and "pictures are of actual monitor for sale". I looked and, guess what, the pictured monitor is a NEotec, and the broken one I received is a WG D9800!!!!! I emailed and let seller know the discrepency, and sent the pictures with it. I shouldnt have to pay any return shipping for sure now, the wrong item was sent. The seller seemed nice on email, so hopefully they will make this right. Stay tuned!!!!
