Replacement for Dragons Lair GO7 monitor ???

Factory setup was a composite video output (BNC Connector), coming out of the laserdisc player. That ran to the video converter PCB. The converter accpeted the BNC video input, and converted it to the typical RGB video signal that standard monitors accept. So this guy can put any typical CGA arcade monitor in there, as long as the video converter board is present. Or he can simply take a 19" TV and hook it to the laserdisc player. (You need a BNC to RCA adaptor)

The video converter board is powered by the G07. I believe you can just jumper that connection to the DC power supply if you run a different monitor that still needs the converter board...

I've never seen one of these games. They are laserdisk? If so, then there should be an NTSC video converter board installed and hard wired to the Electrohome main board. In fact the converter board is probably made by Electrohome.

Some pictures of what's in the game would help.

Will have the monitor next week. I just purchased a very piece-mailed dragons lair from a pretty big classic arcade warehouse in LA...
It's quite a P.O.S...which is what makes it enjoyable...

The guy is helping put the GO7 back together...I think i have most the parts

Will send photos asap...

Appreciate the replies...

just asking for a recommendation on a good cga new monitor...Wells digital or do i have to stay analog w. 15.5 framerate??

who makes a good new monitor i can use ?

thanks

Arcadeshop is selling a nice 19" CGA for $199. Not too many places to get new 19" CGA's anymore...

They'd work, but where are you getting them? Betson has some listed on their website as "In stock", but if you call, you'll find they don't have any...
