My son and I played a couple games of Circus the other day and noticed that the clown Teeter totter is skipping towards the left side. It does it consistently where it skips and you miss the guy because you can't see where the end of your plank is. I'm assuming the pot is probably going bad. What would be the perfect replacement that I can just drop in and where would I get it? I checked Peter's site but didn't see anything even close. Just looking for a drop in replacement part if anyone's got a good source.

post a picture of the pot because i have my circus packed away so i can't look at it.

It reminds me of a pole position gas pedal pot.

Well maybe I better do a little more research on what size I need. Kind of what I was asking in this thread. The ones I just purchased off Amazon are much too small.

Steal one, temporarily for test purposes, from one of these games, perhaps ->

  • Warlords
  • Paperboy
  • Star Wars
  • Pole Position
  • Return of the Jedi
  • APB
  • Road Blasters
  • Championship Sprint
  • Super Sprint
  • Lunar Lander

I realize you are looking for a replacement but if you do have the ability to pop the back cap off you could try hitting it with some Deoxit or other contact cleaner. I recently had to repair four original pots on my United Games Sportarama (pong clone). They were in rough shape as the game is pushing 50 years old. It brought them back to life.
