As the title would indicate I'm repeatedly having to re-seat my Gorf PCBs into the card cage to get my machine to stay running.

Are there some cleaning tips to prevent this from needing to be done? Can the pins on the cage be repinned?

Any advice would be good.

The most common method to clean the contacts is to use a regular pencil eraser and reseat the boards.

Unforunately, edge connectors within the cage do have a limited number of mating cycles. Reseating may have fixed things originally but over time, reseating has actually reduced the overall lifespan... Once they get beyond a certain point, not much to do other than replacing them. Depends on which connectors are used as to whether they can be repinned or completely replaced.

But... for starters, make sure the fingers on the board being plugged in are clean. Even the smallest amount of dirt and buildup can make a world of difference.

I have the correct edge connectors for these in stock. I only have the long ones, not the shorter ones for the ram cards. For those you would need to cut some down.

One thing I have seen alot on these card rack games is stuff falls down in there and gets in the connectors. I have had the rom labels fall down in there at least a couple times. I had a working board then I didnt. It took me a while to realize what had happened.
