The Space Duel I recently acquired works perfect and looks near perfect except for the fact that something had hit the cabinet at one point and taken a 1" chunk of particle wood near the monitor bezel. The wood is missing from both sides of the panel. Filling and repairing the black side facing the monitor will be easy. However, the chunk on the other side facing outward took the white vinyl with it. The side art itself is perfect.

So basically, Ive got a missing 1" chunk of wood. How can I repair the white side so that it doesnt look like a crappy touch up job?

The only real way to repair it without it looking like a "patch" job is to fill the hole, sand it down... remove the side art and re-install new side art. I don't think there is any Space Duel repro art out there so you're kind of stuck with a "patch job". The best you can do is fill it and paint it white...but it will be noticeable.

wasnt there a posting on rothblog about someone re doing the artwork?
