There may be no way around this, but someone in the past didn't like one side of my Dig Dug and took a box cutter to it. It's got a few straight slices across the vinyl sideart. I'd like to touch it up and make it look better, but don't want to strip, sand, paint and restick new sideart if at all possible.

Any advice on how to make it look better?

I was going to try to heat the vinyl with a heat gun and join it back together better. Then take some paint to touch up the cut line. Not sure if that's a feasible idea or not so I thought I'd ask just in case someone has had some experience with this in the past.

To fix a few scratches on the side art, I had a member tell me they had amazing results with Liquitex "Glossies" enamel paints:

They said that they have proven a *perfect* match for all the Atari screened side art... it's a near perfect match if you put it on smooth, even when light shines on it.

bumping this up to see if anyone has every color matched using nail polish. most of my scratches on the side of my area 51 site 4 are on black or white areas but theres a few spots with colors like orange and purple i was going to try and match.

any advice would be great, even where to get a new sideart
